Common dental problems usually commence at an early age due to poor dental hygiene such as improper brushing and lack of flossing. Children need to be especially tuned into taking good care of their teeth, since they usually eat a lot of sugar. Certain bacteria in the mouth break down this sugar and produces an acid that erodes the enamel of your teeth. In adults, besides dental care, age and infection play a major role in disease conditions such as gingivitis, periodontal (gum) abscess, receding or bleeding gums, plaque formation, caries, pyorrhoea and halitosis (offensive breath).

Dantarakshak has been specially formulated with ingredients both medicinal and chemical in nature to alleviate and prevent such dental and gum disorders. Certain detrimental chemical compounds used in generic toothpastes have been avoided. Calendula Officinalis (Marigold) : A remarkable healing agent when applied locally. Rapidly heals wound and ulcers by promoting healthy granulation of tissue and by preventing secondary infection. Ideally indicated for oral ulcers, unhealthy and receding gums, and maintain general oral hygiene.
Plantago Major (Plantain) : Locally indicated for toothache associated with hollow teeth, pyorrhoea alveolaris, and sensitivity of teeth to cold and touch. Effective in relieving associated earache, excessive salivation and swelling of cheeks.
Kreosotum (Beechwood kreosote) : Especially recommended in the prevention and treatment of spongy/bleeding gums, rapid decay of teeth and when teeth turn dark and crumble. Relieves problems associated with teething in children such as pain and excessive salivation.
Clove Oil : Its antiseptic and astringent properties make it an ideal remedy for various gum disorders.

Note.

Before dental and gum disorders show their appearance, the ideal saying "Prevention is better than cure", should be followed by brushing with Dantarakshak twice a day after meals.
